One of my sisters mentioned to me that she was doing Taichi at home. I was very interested and when I saw her recently we did a session together with two other family members. I realized then that I should also buy the program. I have been doing the first 20-25 minutes of the 56 minute practice, because I tend to pause the session and repeat the first three poses. Each day I watch the more in-depth tutorial for 1 to 2 more poses. I think I am now up to pose number 22. The little I do has already been life changing. My legs are much more flexible and this has all but eliminated knee and hip pain. Over the course of 30 days I have noticed increased flexibility and I am excited about my progress. I will of course get to the point where I am consistently doing all 56 minutes.
I used to do yoga, but have not for years, because of daily life activities and work getting in the way. Now, I think I will be doing Taichi the rest of my life and taking more classes as I get further into it. Cannot recommend it enough and thank my sister for finding your program and you for explaining things so clearly. If I were to share one negative, it would be that I think some people who have not done yoga or Taichi before may not know how to protect their back in certain positions. If you were to share new tips, I would further share how to protect your back and knees. But really I just love it!
